Clark,
Joe conducted a review of the location late 2013 thru early 2014. A signal wasn't warranted at the intersection. It
showed to be the typical conditions of a lower volume side street intersecting a higher volume main street during the
rush hour. Yes, there will be delays to make left turns onto Trilby from Avondale and/or Constitution during the AM &
PM rush hours. The rest of the day it's much easier and quicker making a left turn on to Trilby. The evening delay was
the worst with brief period where the average delay could be over a minute for north bound lefts.
The speed limit was recently raised on Trilby from Shields to Lemay to 40 mph from 35 mph.

Next Monday the 71h, there's a neighborhood meeting on this little parcel at the north end of Ridgewood Hills. It's for 10
s.f. units as shown attached.
Is there a traffic control issue at Avondale/Trilby?
Below is an email I got in response to the neighborhood meeting invitation. His reference to humor is that our invitation
says we are interested in public input.

Dear Sarah and Clark —
This is the city of Fort Collins' attempt at humor; am I correct? As was clearly demonstrated by the
annexing of the Skyview subdivision, Fort Collins city government has absolutely no intention of seriously
considering public input. After all, ten more single family houses will not in the least bring more traffic to
the intersection of Trilby and Constellation/Avondale which has been in need of some form of traffic
mitigation device.
Kind regards,
