RE: Airpark Village ODP — Type II
Ted:
The inlet canal for the Cache La Poudre Reservoir, commonly known as Timnath
Reservoir, passes through the area along Highway 14. The inlet canal intersects Dry
Creek at Highway 14. The Cache La Poudre Reservoir Company picks up the water out
of Dry Creek and diverts the flow to the reservoir for storage.
It is essential that the flows in D'ry Creek pass through this project to the inlet canal. A
storm flow channel was constructed to divert storm flow around the airport. This storm
channel passes over the inlet canal. It is essential that only high storm flows are placed in
the storm channel. It is necessary to place all remaining flows through the project to the
inlet canal to maintain historic water administration.
The information furnished does not address the routing of Dry Creek flows through the
project. It is important that this route be clearly defined and accessible.
