RE: Letter of Concurrence: Irrigation Ditch modifications
Dear Mr. Baum,
Enclosed with this letter are the following documents for the new Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witness facility, located at the northeast corner of Kechter and Timberline, in
Fort Collins:
• Final Site Plan,
• Subdivision Plat
• Utility, Grading and Drainage Plan
The plan sets demonstrate proposed changes to the Blehm Irrigation Ditch that is located
at this site. The changes include: (a) relocating the ditch to the north property line of Lot
1, (b). relocation of a splitter box structure that currently lies within public R.O.W. of
Timberline, and (c) channeling the ditch through a pipe at a proposed driveway crossing
on the north east side of the property. When these documents are finalized, we will ask
for your approval of the plans.
This plan also proposes a temporary storm water retention pond on the north side of the
property (Lot 2). In the storm event where standing water is still present after 72 hours,
the owner seeks permission to utilize a 2" motorized pump (or smaller) to discharge the
standing water into the irrigation ditch. The maximum volume of water would be
approximately 180 gallons per minute. This would be a very infrequent event that would
likely not occur more than once every few years. Your agreement to this activity is
required for final approval of the Kingdom Hall Plan.
