Subject: Spring Creek Ranch Staff Report
Ted, in reviewing the staff report, we obtained this morning, we have found a couple of items of concern.
One is the bicycle and pedestrian access along the south side of our property via the emergency access
easement. This is new information that we believe provides additional risk to the public and our horses
and therefore should be lined with dog proof fencing as well.
Second, the staff report indicates that Mr. Mintz already owns the property. It is our understanding in a
conversation with Dr. Aanes, that the property is scheduled to close in August pending the approval of the
project. It seems a little misleading to state that he already owns the property when at this point he can
walk away from it if the approval does not go as he would like to go.
Perhaps you could forward this to the hearing officer.
