Whitcomb: 1) Bicycle parking is required. Please provide bicycle parking on a hard surface, convenient to the entrance for visitors and employees and out of the elements if possible. 2) Detached sidewalks and directional ramps exist at this location. No need to make changes at this time. Discovery Science Museum: 1) Direct pedestrian connection required from Mason Court and Poudre Trail spur to front entrance. 2) Sidewalk connectivity internal to site should minimize crossing drive isles and be planned to provide the most direct route that pedestrian is most likely to use. 3) Has the layout of the site explored placing the building further to the south? What is the reasoning for the site layout to include the parking lot in front of the main entrance. 4) How is it anticipated a pedestrian travel to the Museum from the Downtown Transit Center and are there adaquate facilities for this connection? 5) Traffic Impact Study must include a pedestrian Level Of Service study.Off site improvements may be required. 6) Bicycle parking is required. Please provide bicycle parking on a hard surface, convenient to the entrance for visitors and employees and out of the elements if possible. —If you leave for more than 2 minutes —Be Bright and turn off the Light Jennifer Petrik Transportation Planning, City of Fort Collins PO Box 580 : 250 North Mason Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 (970) 416-2471 office (970) 221-6239 fax file://CADocuments and Settings\solt\Local Settings\Temp\GW}00001.HTM 12/30/2009
