However, Legacy Park's parking lot is large enough (length and width) to handle trailer parking. We presently do not have any marks in the lot identifying parking stalls. So, during a busy time at the park with more cars; it may be more difficult to park a trailer. I would think parking at Legacy is adequate to replace the horse trailer stalls in the Lee Martinez lot just across the river. Maybe Bill knows more, but it's hard to believe we get many horse trailers at the Lee Martinez lot. The development to the west of the Discovery Center, where Dozbog is located, has a requirement of 40 spaces being available for public parking. We got the agreement from the railroad when they sold the land for development and the agreement went with the land. The initial development plan showed the parking lot in a group at the east end of the development which would have been easy to sign and find by the public. Unfortunately, the final development has the parking stalls throughout the development which is much more difficult for the public to understand and utilize. That said; I'll do some tracking of open parking stalls in the development and use at the existing trail head parking lot over the next few months and into summer. Today at 2:00 there were two cars at the existing trail head parking lot and 12 empty spaces in the development area. Let me know if you need any more info.
