[9/21/05] REPEAT COMMENT
[6/14/05] Basin 01 drainage will increase from existing to developed conditions,
which will result in increased flows onto Highway 287. CDOT normally does not
allow increased flows onto their highways. The increase of .3 cfs is small, but
approval by CDOT would be required for this increase. Basin 1 also now drains onto
CDOT right-of-way and would need their approval as well.

[12/9/05] The proposed storm sewers in Olive Street need to have manholes at the _
connections to the existing 60-inch. We need to discuss options, because it would
be undesirable to have two manholes within 30-feet.
Number: 94 Created: 12/9/2005
[12/9/05] A detail of the storm sewer connection is required once the best option is
determined.

[12/6/051 A hydrologic study still required..
[9/21/05] Please provide more information about the subdrains. The city does not
allow subdrains in public rights of way and it appears that there is a proposed
exterior perimeter drain. Still need the hydrologic study.
[6/14/05] Are subdrains proposed with this project? If so, a hydrologic study may be
needed per LCUASS.

ISSUES:
Department: Engineering Issue Contact: Dan DeLaughter
Topic: Alley
Number: 90 Created: 12/9/2005
[12/9/05] Please show more detail on the portion of alley being cut across Olive to
the north. Include a blow-up of the area with spot elevations, show curb and gutter,
pans, etc., and show the materials (concrete or asphalt). The street portion can be
replaced with asphalt, but the alley portion must be concrete.
Number: 92 Created: 12/9/2005
[12/9/05] Typical alley section must match what is proposed.
Please provide 3 alley cross -sections on the plans: at 2+25, 3+00, and the south
edge of the property line. Also, provide a spot at the lip of gutter on Olive, and a
centerline profile of the alley across Olive to the north where the street is being cut,
in addition to other detail requested in that location.

[6/14/05] College Avenue is a state highway, and as such, CDOT regulations must
be followed for construction within that ROW and drainage onto the highway. CDOT
has indicated that retaining walls and/or stairs are not permitted within the ROW.
Planter boxes would be ok with a permit; closing the access on College will require a
permit (free for removal) that would also cover the other work within the ROW.
Please discuss drainage issues with CDOT, as well as the proposed relocation of
the light pole and associated curbing to the center of College Avenue, to see what
CDOT will allow.

[6/14/05] All eaves/balconies/awnings/etc that encroach into either the College or
Olive ROW will require an approved encroachment permit from the City. Retaining
