With regards to why it was changed from LCUASS to the LUC, it really wasn't changed. LCUASS was adopted in 2001, whereas the drive -aisle dimensions were contained in the "Parking Lot Development Guide" that was adopted by reference as part of a 1980 off-street parking ordinance. The original "guide" had "one-way' and "two-way" wording, but as best I can determine, this wording was changed to "one-sided" and "two-sided" loading in 1981. 1 can't find any documentation as to why it was changed. Bottom line is that it's been "one-sided" and "two-sided" for the last 24 years. >>> Anne Aspen 09/20/2005 5:38:03 PM >>> Hi Peter, Just following up on the issue I brought up a bit ago about the one-way/one sided drive aisle in Section 3.2.2 (L)—dimension G in Figure 4. I'm writing the staff report for that modification fr 210-212 W. Magnolia now. It's due to Pete on Monday. I wonder if you have any info I can add about your research on why it was changed from LCUASS to the LUC back when, and/or whether it is on the agenda for the Land Use Code Team for the fall revisions. Thanks, Anne
