Dear Steve,
Fort Collins Habitat For Humanity would like to request a one-year extension on our "Innovation Island" project
which is located at the intersection of Harmony and Taft Hill Road. We have been endeavoring to make
Innovation Island a reality, but the current economic situation has forced us to put this project on hold. We
appreciate the City's understanding of our situation and willingness to work with us. If you have nay questions or

Subject: Innovation Island - Final Plan Approval
Dear Ms. Mayo,
The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved your request for a one year
extension to the Innovation Island - Final Plan, originally approved on June 11, 2007.
Based on this extension, all engineering improvements in accordance with your
approved utility plans must be completed no later than June 11, 2011.
Pursuant to Section 2.2.11(D)(4) of the Land Use Code, the Director is authorized to
grant an additional one year extension should you find that the above new deadline
cannot be met. Please note that additional requests beyond the two consecutive one
year periods fall outside my purview and may only be authorized by the Planning &
Zoning Board.
