He is ok with the current design you had at the meeting. The to the west of each access was his primary concern ,and that had been improved. The bike lane dimple is cute. No fight here, but there is concern that street sweepers will not sweep it( for one reason or another). Add to that, it is very short and a cyclist will still be in a leaning and turning condition when they contact the track area. Add to that, dirt, loose small gravel/sand, moisture, trash, etc. collecting in the dimple .... are we sure we are - providing a means to do something safer. Even if it gets swept, its only occasional. These types of pockets in our "breezy" environment are places where debris gets deposited. It very well could be regularly "slick" (sand/gravel, trash, moisture) regardless, for a cyclists in a leaning, turning condition. But, no fight here.
