I received a phone call from Kurt this morning requesting some information. He has had several citizens ask about the Habitat for Humanity development on Taft and Harmony. He would like to know any details we could provide, such as when it goes to planning and zoning and where in the development process it is. Any additional information would be helpful. Thanks! I appreciate it! Anne -Marie >>> City Manager's Office 11/9/2005 1:21:39 PM >>> Hello Kurt, Below is some information regarding your question about Habitat for Humanity on Taft and Sheilds. Let us know if you need anything further on this. Heather Shepherd City Manager's Office >>> Steve Olt 11/9/2005 11:54:45 AM >>> Anne -Marie, I am the project planner for the Innovation Island, Overall Development Plan (ODP) and Project Development Plan (PDP). They are qualified affordable housing projects for Habitat for Humanity located at the southeast corner of West Harmony Road and South Taft Hill Road. The existing Overlook at Woodridge PUD, Fourth Filing is directly south of the property. The Innovation Island, ODP is a "bubble diagramatic" plan (setting direction for land uses on the property) for two parcels on 4.4 acres. Parcel A is for 27 affordable multi -family dwelling units (Habitat for Humanity) on 3.1 acres. Parcel B is for either 20,000 square feet of commercial uses (in a neighborhood center setting) or 10 multi -family dwelling units (developer undetermined) on 1.3 acres. The Innovation Island, PDP is the "site -specific" development plan for Parcel A, which contains 27 affordable multi -family dwelling units (Habitat for Humanity) on 3.1 acres. Both development proposals were submitted to the City on October 5, 2005, for review. They are being reviewed concurrently. After the first round of review City staff determined that the proposals were in a condition to allow them to be scheduled for a public hearing for a decision on each proposal. They are scheduled for the November 17, 2005, Planning & Zoning Board public hearing. They both are on the decision agenda, with the ODP being heard first, followed by the PDP. Please let me know if you need information about the Innovation Island, ODP and PDP Steve Olt Current Planning >>> City Manager's Office 11/09 10:26 AM >>> Greg, Can you help out with this question from Kurt Kastein? I think he would actually like to have it by later today. If you forward the information to us, we'll send it on to Kurt. Thanks! Heather Shepherd City Manager's Office
