GRRNT PANNING
Dear Ms. Aspen,
1 will not be able to attend the neighborhood meeting for the project at 1734 W. Mountain
Ave. Thus I felt compelled to submit my comments to you in writing so that they may be
addressed at the actual meeting.
I live and own many properties in the general vicinity (1617 Richard's Place, etc.) and
would merely like to make a few suggestions.
Since the applicant is actually applying for a change of use from residential to
commercial one would expect that they bear the burden for street improvement on
Bryant, Mountain Ave., and the adjoining alley.
Air quality would be negatively affected without such improvements- guests, delivery
trucks, trash removal vehicles coming and going day in and day out. I am sure there is a
air quality standard that must be met under city and or federal codes.
My main concern is keeping the neighborhood and the air clean in spite of the increased
influx of commercial traffic to and from the proposed B&B- to maintain the quaint charm
of our Old Town Neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Ursula Schultz
