HomeMy WebLinkAbout605 WEST LAKE STREET BOARDING HOUSE - PDP - 48-05 - SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS - ROUND 2 - REVISIONSJim S. It was my understanding this has been address by the utility
department. The only city utility is a sewer line and they have stated it is not a
problem as it is over 15 years old.

Neither the Site Plan map nor the Vicinity Map are legible. The Site Plan must
be enlarged to a measurable scale so that the information can be read and
understood. For a site of this size it would not be unreasonable to have the Site
Plan at a 1" = 20' or, better yet, a 1" = 10' scale. Also, it is impossible to
determine where 605 Lake Street is based on the information provided on the
Vicinity Map. Please see the attached example of a Vicinity Map that could be
included on the Site Plan.
Jim S. Information down loaded from the City website required scale of 1 to
30. I had to reduce everything to get it that small. Scale has been
enlarged. Thank you for the better vicinity map it has been copied and used

There are numerous items in the Site Plan drawing list at the upper right-hand
corner of the plan that can be eliminated. Please see the red -lined Site Plan
that is being forwarded to you.
Jim S Information provided per requirements noted on website. Please
explain?

after additional research and discussion, it has been concluded that boarding
houses can be on the residential electric rate. Rate ordinances from several
years ago stipulated that boarding houses would be on the commercial rate;
however, current rates are silent on boarding houses. Since the expected
electric -use pattern is like that o f a residence it has been concluded that the
appropriate rate is residential. Anyway, there is very little difference between file
two rates.
