HomeMy WebLinkAboutTALON ESTATES - MODIFICATION OF STANDARD - 42-05 - DECISION - PETITIONDATE: June 1, 2006 TO: City of Fort Collins Community Planning and Environmental Services FROM: Residents of the Hampshire Pond Neighborhood RE: Talon Estates - Land Use Code: Section 4.1(D)(1)(b) The following residents believe that the developer's request to reduce the lot size requirement for Talon Estates should be denied. We believe the request to reduce the lot requirement from .5 acre to .45 acre is the start of a "slippery slope" that will only lead to more concessions. The Land Use Code exists to balance the need for housing growth with the desire to preserve open space.
