Staff has reviewed your submittal for MULBERRY EAST FIRST ANNEXATION
& ZONING - TYPE II, and we offer the following comments:

[6/9/04] Ellen Switzer of the Light & Power Department indicated
that this area is in the Poudre Valley REA's service territory.
Service rights fees will apply to any existing or future electric
service for a period of 10 years.

[6/9/04] Katy Carpenter of the GIS Department indicated that the
"highlighted" bearing and distance as shown on the annexation plat
is overshooting where it should line up with their parcel base and
existing City limits.

[6/9/04] J.R. Wilson of the Technical Services Department indicated
that the legal description & boundary do not close. The legal
description & boundary do not match.

[6/9/04] John Shepard of the Larimer County Planning Department
indicated that all adjacent road rights -of -way should be included in
annexations. They are urging the City to consider including State
Highway parcels (East Mulberry Street) north of this location in the
annexation, as well.

annexation & zoning request is scheduled to go to the Planning &
Zoning Board on June 17th for recommendation to City Council, then
to Council on July 6th for 1st reading and July 20th for 2nd
reading.
