RE: April 18, 2006, Public Hearing by the Fort Collins City Council to Consider An
Amendment to the West Side Neighborhood Plan, an element of City Plan, the City's
Comprehensive Plan.
Dear Mr. Wensing,
Section 24-32-3209(2)(a) of the Colorado Revised Statutes requires local governments to provide
neighboring jurisdictions written notice of public hearings when the comprehensive plan of that
local government is to be considered for an amendment. Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to
inform the Town of Windsor that the Fort Collins City Council will consider an amendment the
West Side Neighborhood Plan, an element of City Plan, the City's Comprehensive Plan. The
amendment will change the designation of approximately 11.6 acres, which includes most of the
Frey Subdivision (located north of W. Mountain Avenue, east of Grandview Avenue, south of
Laporte Avenue, and west of the Larimer County Canal #2) on the "Future Land Use" map in the
West Side Neighborhood Plan from the "Retain or Convert to Multi -Family" classification to the
"Retain or Convert to Single Family" classification. The change would restrict uses in the subject
area to single-family homes. The City Council's public hearing will be conducted on the
following date and at the time and place listed:
Tuesday, April 18, 2006
6:00 P.M.
