Dear Resident:
On Monday, February 27, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Harmony Branch
Library Community Room, SE corner of Harmony Road and S. Shields Street,
the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will hold a neighborhood
information meeting to discuss a request to rezone a portion (approximately 18
acres) of a 58 acre parcel, from Medium Density Mixed Use Neighborhood
(MMN) to Neighborhood Center (NC), located at the northwest corner of
Harmony and Shields (please see map on the reverse side). The proposed
change relocates the Neighborhood Center planned for this site, from its
approved original location between Troutman Parkway and Wake Robin Lane,
approximately 500 feet to the south. The rezoning proposal is being referred to
as the Harmony & Shields Rezoning.
The purpose of the meeting is to review the proposed request for rezoning, and
for citizens to identify and discuss related issues. Citizens are encouraged to
attend and actively participate in the meeting.
