There was great deal of discussion that went on and several neighbors and I wondered whether you might be able to send us the minutes of the meeting. As was discussed, there are many concerns that we all have - especially considering the thought of what was termed "affordable" housing. I consider this to be high -density housing that will attract a great deal of additional traffic to an area that is already incredibly dangerous for those of us that leave the area via the Wakerobin/Shields route. The intersection is too close to Harmony and during "rush" hours, the traffic is easily backed -up and blocking the intersection. Parents dropping their children off at the two schools in the neighborhood, are always lined up, trying to exit out onto northbound Shields. A thought consideration might be to route Wakerobin north to meet with an extension Troutman, and then put a light at that intersection, instead of spotting Shield with lights - which seems to be the City's mode of coping with any traffic problem. There are also concerns about the school capacity, congestion, dangerous conditions for students that must cross Shields to attend school, general property values, open space issues, and other items that were insufficiently dealt with by the developer. Would you kindly send the meeting minutes back with any thoughts you might have already considered? I appreciate your assistance. Thanks, Dave
