Box 37 Timnath, CO 80547 RE: April 18, 2006, Public Hearing by the Fort Collins City Council to Consider An Amendment to the City Plan Structure Plan Map, which is a component of the City's Comprehensive Plan. Dear Town Administrator, Section 24-32-3209(2)(a) of the Colorado Revised Statutes requires local governments to provide neighboring jurisdictions written notice of public hearings when the comprehensive plan of that local government is to be considered for an amendment. Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to inform the Town of Timnath that the Fort Collins City Council will consider an amendment the City Plan Structure Plan Map, the City's Comprehensive Plan. The amendment will "flip" the land use designation of approximately 17.9 acres located at the northwest corner of Harmony Road and Shields Street on the Structure Plan Map, relocating that area designated as Neighborhood Commercial Center, with the "Medium Density Mixed Use Residential" designation and vice versa. The change would result in the neighborhood commercial center to be moved approximately 500 south of the presently designated location. The City Council's public hearing will be conducted on the following date and at the time and place listed: Tuesday, April 18, 2006 6:00 P.M.
