HomeMy WebLinkAboutFORBES REZONING - 48-89 - - APPLICANT COMMUNICATION• October 6, 1989 Mr. Ted Shepard Planning Department City of Fort Collins P 0 Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear Mr. Shepard: As the owners of the proposed Forbes Minor Subdivision we are requesting that you initiate the proceedure to lift the Planned Unit Development condition that was placed on that property when it was annexed to the City of Fort Collins. The prospective buyer, Mr. Ken Forbes, would like the two existing houses placed on separate lots and the remainder of the land in an undeveloped lot. The zoning of the 20.3334 acres would then be changed from r. l . p. to R.L.P. It is our understanding this would be heard by the Planning and Zoning Board at their November meeting and by City Council for two hearings in December. The legal description of the parcel is as follows: A tract of land situate in the Southwest 4 of Section 32, Township 8 North, Range 68 West of the Sixth P.M., Fort Collins, Colorado, which considering the West line of the Southwest a of said Section 32 as bearing S O1' 15' 28" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point on the West line of the said Southwest i which bears S O10 15' 28" E 34.01 feet from the West a corner of said Section 32 and run thence N 89° 50' 10" E 562.17 feet; thence S 01 ° 15' 28" E 1575.83 feet; thence S 89° 50' 10" W 562.17 feet to a point on the West line of the said Southwest a; thence along said West line N O1' 15' 28" W 1575.83 feet to the point of beginning, containing 20.3334 acres, more or less.
