RE: Forbes Rezoning
Dear Dick:
This letter is to inform you that on December 19, 1989, the City of Fort
Collins City Council passed, on second reading, Ordinance Number 156, 1989
authorizing the rezoning of the Forbes parcel. The Forbes parcel is more
specifically defined as 20.33 acres, being a portion of the Country Club East
Annexation, located in Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 8 North,
Range 68 West of the Sixth P.M., City of Fort Collins.
This ordinance, which was unanimously adopted on First Reading on December
5, 1989, rezones the 20.33 acres to remove the zoning condition requiring all
development to be processed as a planned unit development. The change would
allow single family development to occur as a "use by right" under the
restrictions of R-L-P zoning.
The official zoning map will be changed to remove the r-1-p (lower case
indicates conditional zoning) designation to R-L-P (upper case indicates no
zoning condition).
