The proposed project is commonly known as Northern Colorado Academy of the Arts and Knowledge Charter School Site Plan Advisory Review, # 8-06. This project is a request for a change of use for the existing office building located at 4512 McMurry Avenue to a charter school known as the Northern Colorado Academy of the Arts and Knowledge (NCAAK). This property is in the Harmony Corridor Zoning District. Public and private schools for elementary, intermediate and high school education are permitted uses in this zoning district, subject to review and comment by the Planning and Zoning Board. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an important part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
