Department: Transportation Planning Issue Contact: Kurt Ravenschlag Topic: General Number: 18 Created: 3/29/2006 (3/29/06] Repeat engineering comment #14: [3/28/06] Since the drivecut has to be removed and replaced with curb, gutter and sidewalk, please update the plans to show that. A street cut permit may be required. Department: Stormwater-Water-Wastewater Issue Contact: Basil Harridan Topic: Stormwater Number: 10 Created: 3/28/2006 [3/28/06] Since the site is already developed, no water quantity requirements will need to be met. Technically, since this is a redevelopment project, the site would have to meet water quality requirements, however, if some water quality methods are incorporated into the design, such as the use of disconnected impervious areas, then no water quality detention would be required. Topic: WaterMastewater Number: 11 Created: 3/28/2006 [3/28/06] Will a cafeteria be added with this new use? If yes, then a grease trap may be needed. Number: 4 Created: 3/27/2006 [3/27/06] Are the landscaped islands in the proposed hard surface play area going to remain? Perhaps the landscaping could be better incoroporated into the play area so that it does not look like it is still a parking lot. Number: 6 Created: 3/27/2006 [3/27/06] Six percent of all parking lot interior space should be landscape area. Number: 7 Created: 3/27/2006 [3/27/06] Instead of limiting access via railroad ties, please close the drive aisle completely and connect the sidewalks and landscape areas. Department: Engineering Issue Contact: Susan Joy Topic: General Number: 12 Created: 3/28/2006 [3/28/06] Please route Traffic Engineering a copy of the TIS and plans for their review if this hasn't already been done. Number: 13 Created: 3/28/2006 [3/28/06] The drive entrances, exits, and aisles need to be one lane only. The. plan currently shows 2 lanes in and 2 lanes out. This is impossible as there is only one receiving lane outbound. Also, the TIS recommends that there be only one inbound lane for safety reasons. Page 1
