HomeMy WebLinkAboutFRONT RANGE SECOND REZONING - 20-06 - CORRESPONDENCE - (8)Steve Olt - Re: Page 1 From: Steve Olt To: Barry Samet Date: 08/24/2006 10:09:51 AM Subject: Re: Barry, We determined that the notification must be 1,000 feet because of the size of the property now to be rezoned and the potential uses on your property as well as the remainder of the property, once in the C - Commercial District. Section 2.2.6(D) Supplemental Notice Requirements of the Land Use Code, last box in the table, states that "Nonresidential developments which propose land uses or activities which, in the judgement of the Director, create community or regional impacts" shall have a minimum notice radius of 1,000 feet. Certainly the auto deaslership will create a community, possibly a regional, impact and other future uses in the C District right on South College Avenue will create community and regional impacts. Had that changed to 1000 feet as noted in your e-mail to me? Thank you, Barry
