The fire lane must have appropriate maintenance agreements that are legally binding and enforceable. It is required to be designated on the plat as an Emergency Access Easement. The required minimum width of 20 feet must be maintained throughout the length of the fire lane. If a fire lane cannot be provided, the building shall be fire sprinklered. If the fire lane exceeds 150 feet in length, a turnaround must be provided with appropriate turning radii. Contact Carte Dann at PFA for more information.
