Howes fo >>> Beth Sowder 10/10 3:26 PM >>> Hi Cameron, I just got a noise ticket forwarded to me from the Police from 606 S. Howes. I thought I should let you know about it in case you might have some leverage with the owner (since he was applying to be a Boarding House). The Police Officer's notes say: "Loud party - 20 people standing in the front yard talking and yelling. Approx. 30 more people in the house. Could hear noise 4 houses away. Tenant lied to police and said he did not live here, then changed mind. Tenant and roommates have been warned for noise 2 prior times at least. Tenant was uncooperative and rude. Tenant told Police that the Judge would reduce the fine to $250 anyway and he did not care about it. Please, push for $1,000 fine. 7 people live in this house and they are a constant noise complaint." If I'd had this information sooner, I would've asked for a plan to resolve the noise situation in the Boarding House application process. Anyway, if you think you would be able to mention this to the owner to see if he could help resolve this issue, that would be great. I'm sending him a PNO violation notice on it anyway. Thanks, Beth
