Dear Resident:
On Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at 5:30 p.m., in the Planning conference
room, 281 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO., the City of Fort Collins
Hearing Officer will conduct an administrative public hearing to consider a
change of use proposal in your neighborhood.
This is a request known as the 606 South Howes Boarding House Project
Development Plan, #18-06. The request is to change the use of the existing
house from single-family residential to an eight person boarding house. No
exterior changes are proposed to the property, and parking for the house will
remain in its current location, in the parking lot east of the property. The property
is zoned CC - Community Commercial District. Boarding houses with eight
boarders are permitted uses in this zoning district, subject to administrative
review and public hearing.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor
of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
