Staff has reviewed your submittal for 606 S HOWES STREET BOARDING HOUSE -
PDP, # 18-06 - TYPE I, and we offer the following comments:
ISSUES:
Department: Current Planning Issue Contact: Shelby Sommer
Topic: General
Number: 26 Created: 8/29/2006
[8/29/06] The owner's certification blocks do not need to be signed or notarized at
this stage. If the project is approved at the public hearing, and after your plans are
finalized with no outstanding issues, I will ask you to submit final mylars for the City
to record. These signatures are required at the final mylar stage only.
Number: 27 Created: 8/29/2006
[8/29/06] The title on the right hand side of sheet one is missing a "t" on the word
"street."
Topic: Public Hearing
Number: 28 Created: 8/29/2006
[8/29/06] This project is ready for a Type I (Administrative) Public Hearing. I have
scheduled the hearing for 5:30 pm on Tuesday, September 26 with the
Administrative Hearing Officer. The hearing will be held in Conference Room A of
the City building at 281 N. College.
A minimum of two weeks notice is required for all affected property owners (APOs).
I will put together a letter and map to send to the mailing list that you provided with
your application, with a brief project summary and invitation to attend the public
hearing. I will also prepare a staff report recommending approval of this project, with
a thorough evaluation of this project according to the Land Use Code. You should
be prepared to give a brief project summary and add any additional information you
think would be relevant. If anyone from the public attends the hearing, time will be
allotted for questions or comments.
After the hearing, the Administrative Hearing Officer will issue a written decision
within 10 working days. Any member of the public may appeal the decision within
14 days of the decision. After the appeal period passes, you may submit your final
plans (if there are any outstanding comments to be corrected) or mylars for
recording. The $1000 Final Plan Transportation Development Review Fee will be
due at the time the final plans are submitted.
