Skyway Drive, Fort Collins, the City of Fort Collins City Planning and Community Development Department will conduct a neighborhood meeting to discuss a rezoning proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as East Skyway Rezoning. This is a proposal to rezone two properties on East Skyway Drive, initiated by City staff. The first property is located at 209 E. Skyway Drive. The existing zoning is Urban Estate. The proposed zoning includes a change to Commercial on the west 2/3 of the property, and a change to Low Density Residential on the east 1 /3 of the property. The second property is located at 225 East Skyway Drive, with an existing zoning of Urban Estate. The proposed zoning is a change to Low Density Residential on the north 1/3 of the property and retain the remaining south 2/3 of the property as Urban Estate. At this meeting, you will have an opportunity to hear from staff about their plans, ask questions and share your thoughts about their plans. If the project moves forward, you will have another opportunity to provide input at a public hearing, at which time you will receive a similar notification. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
