Skyway is a collector street, not a local street east of US287 so it is intended to carry more traffic than a
local residential street so it should be able to support commercial development. What is the nature of Mr.
Schumm's project?
Is it a major redevelopment project or something smaller?

Mark or Kurt or Kathleen?
We met with Brian Schumm today earlier and again this afternoon with Darin, and need some help on the
question of potential increased traffic impacts on E. Skyway if the Whitman property (209 Skyway, just
east of the existing U Haul business) is rezoned from UE to Commercial?
Brian has made a point that since Skyway was converted into a through street, it has become a truck
route for other commercial uses in area and changed the character of the local residential street...
can one of you shed some light on potential increase in traffic as a result of this change?
let me know if you need more info or have any questions?
thanks, Pete
