Planning and Environmental S, Aces Current Planning City of Fort Collins August 13, 2007 Dear Resident or Property Owner: On Monday, August 27th, 2007 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the City of Fort Collins Senior Center at 1200 Raintree Drive in Meeting Room #MU3 (north entrance), the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as Shields Street Mixed -Use Project. This is a proposal to redevelop the approximately three -acre site at 3425 S. Shields, at the northwest corner of Shields and Richmond, into a five -building project with two three-story commercial buildings on Shields and three three-story multi -family residential buildings behind. A total of 42 dwelling units are proposed. The property is zoned MMN—Medium Density Mixed -Use Neighborhood. At this meeting, you will have an opportunity to hear from the developer and architect about their plans, ask questions and share your thoughts about their plans. If the project moves forward, you will have another opportunity to provide input at a public hearing, at which time you will receive a similar notification for the hearing. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
