Dear Resident:
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on
Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers*, City Hall
West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public hearing on a proposed project in
your neighborhood. The proposed Annexation and Zoning is known as, Rein
Annexation and Zoning, #21-07.
This is a request to annex and zone a 1.52 acre parcel. The site, 1038 West
Vine Drive, is located approximately at the midpoint between North Shields
Street and Wood Street. Contiguity with the existing municipal boundary is
gained along the entire south boundary which is shared with the Capital Hill
Subdivision. Contiguity is also gained along the entire west boundary which is
shared with the Snyder Annexation. The Arthur Ditch forms the north boundary.
The requested zoning is Limited Commercial, which is in conformance with the
Northwest Subarea Plan.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your
interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an important
part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public
hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor
of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
