The project is referred to as Fort Collins Supportive Housing P.D.P., #8-07. As proposed, this is a request to develop the Glass/Keenan property, located on the south side of Harmony Road between College Avenue and Hogan Drive, into an apartment building. The apartment building would be three -stories in height and contain 23 dwelling units. Each unit would be barrier -free for persons with physical disabilities. The applicant is Accessible Space, Inc. This is a private non-profit corporation that participates in the Federal Housing and Urban Development Department's Section 811 program. The project includes two Requests for Modification. The first would reduce the minimum required number of parking spaces from 36 to 24. The second would reduce the front setback from Harmony Road from 30 feet to 20 feet. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an important part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. Sincerely: t l Ted Shepard, AICP Chief Planner The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City services, programs, and activities and will make special communication arrangements for persons with disabilities.
