re: Thorland Subdivision-#9-08
I am Milton F. Watkins, and my wife and I own the property at 2312 Kechter Road, a
part of the Blehm Subdivision.
I regret that I am unable to attend the public hearing on July 30,2008 on the proposed
Thorland subdivision, but I reside out of state and am unable on short notice to amend my
schedule to allow me to attend. I trust that this letter will suffice to represent the interests
of my wife and me at this meeting.
I strongly oppose the subdividing of Lot #1 of the Blhem Subdivision, known as 2224
Kechter Road. I believe this action is in direct violation of existing "Deed Restrictions"
and Covenants applying to this property, as it would be on all other property in the Blhem
Subdivision. These restrictions existed before and at the time of purchase of said property
by the current owners.The owners had an obligation to make themselves aware of these
restrictions and the impact on any future plans they may have had for this property. They
continue to have the obligation and responsibility to abide by the requirements of these
restrictions and covenants.
I will ask other owners of Blhem Subdivision join me in using whatever means necessary
to insure that all Deed Restrictions and Covenants are enforced, and I take whatever
action is appropriate to make all parties involved in this unlawful breach fully comply
with the restrictions.
