RE: CHOICE CENTER — Special Height Review
Dear Anne,
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
PLANNING
ENGINEERING
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Attached please find a 24" x 36" shadow analysis, three I I" x 17" pages of visual
analysis, and one each 11" x 17" elevation for Buildings 1 and 2. These documents are
being submitted to satisfy the Special Height Review requirements for Choice Center.
Building 1 is located on the west side of the site and will be four stories tall. The
building site lies significantly lower than College Avenue and is located behind existing
single story retail buildings. As such, from College Avenue the building will appear
shorter than four stories. When viewing Building 1 from a position located west of the
site, the elevated railroad track and the existing vegetation help to screen the building.
Building 2 will be located at the comer of College and Stuart. The site slopes to the west
and the building has been designed to be five stories if viewed from the west, and four
stories when viewed from the east. The building will be similar in architecture to
Building 1. Work is continuing on the visual analysis sheets. It is anticipated that
Building 2 will appear more complete for the hearing.
Please let me know if you need anything further. Thank you.
Sincerely,
9-C
