College Ave. PO Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 970.221.6750 970.224.6134 - fax fcgov. com/currentplanning March 24, 2009 On Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., in conference room A of 281 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City of Fort Collins Hearing Officer will conduct an Administrative Hearing to consider a redevelopment proposal in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as Larimer Center for Mental Health, Spirit Crossing Clubhouse, 125 West Crestridge Road, #2-09. This is a request to convert an existing church at 125 West Crestridge Drive into an office and clubhouse for Larimer County. Spirit Crossing clubhouse offers employment training, educational services, and help with socialization and wellness skills for approximately 20 to 40 clients. There would be five employees. In addition, there would be offices for approximately 24 other Larimer County employees. Interior improvements include installing an elevator and upgrading the fire extinguishing system. There would be no exterior changes to the building. Exterior site improvements include improving the sidewalk and adding landscaping along the perimeter. Spirit Crossing would operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and lunch is served daily. Shuttle service is offered to members in need of transportation. The parcel is located one block west of South College Avenue at the corner of Crestridge Drive and Venus Drive and zoned C-C, Community Commercial. The City Current Planning Staff and the Hearing Officer consider your interest and input in this matter an important part of the City's review of this proposal.
