Courtney,
I just dropped off the re -submittal for the Fort Collins Vet Clinic Addition. Will you let me know

Hi B.J.,
We will have the second round comment review meeting on the morning of Wednesday, July 17th at
281 North College Avenue, Conf. Room A. Please attend this meeting. Your timeslot should be between 8:30
a.m. - 10:00 a.m. We will send an e-mail on Monday, July 15th or Tuesday, July 16 to give you a better
estimate of what time to arrive.
Pending no major unforeseen issues on July 17th meeting, we will be looking at the P & Z Work
Session on Friday, August 2nd, starting at noon at 281 North College Avenue, Conf. Room A. Although
Applicants cannot directly participate in the work session, many find it a valuable opportunity to understand
what questions the Board may have so they can address them at the formal hearing. I would encourage someone
from your team to attend.
That being said, the P & Z Hearing could be scheduled on August 8th, starting at 6:00 p.m. in City
Council Chambers (300 LaPorte Street).
If approved on August 8th, there is a 14 day appeal period, ending at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August
22nd. Final Plans can be submitted as early as Wednesday, August 14th. This would be at your own risk since
the appeal period would not have expired yet, but it is a way to expedite the review. Final Plan submittals are
accepted by appointment with the front desk on Wednesdays. Please call 970-224-6134 to schedule your
appointment.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Courtney Levingston

Thanks Courtney. We are planning on submitting final building permit plans on July 12 - 15. If the building
permit review time is six weeks, then the building permit review should be complete around August 26. I
understand submitting the building plans is at our own risk because the final PDP and appeal process may not
be complete. To make sure we are on the same page, is it OK for us to submit the building permit on July 12 -
15?

Hi B.J.,
I think we are on the same page. An application for a building permit can be made at any time, however they
only can be issued after the Final Plan is approved. If you submit for Final Plan on Wednesday, August 14, the
first round of final plan review will be on Wednesday, September 4th. At that time you will get a list of things
that will need to be cleaned up prior to recording your plans on mylar. Once the plans are recorded, you can pull
your building permits.
I have attached the development review flow chart. The turnaround times are listed on the flow chart and are
standardized.
Thanks,
Courtney Levingston

As previously mentioned (see below), you are required to address outstanding comments (see attached) in a
Final Plan submittal. TDRF fee (check with Andrew) and Final Planning fees ($1,000) will apply at this time.
Additionally, I've attached the Final Plan routing sheet for your Final Plan submittal which provides the number
of copies you'll need. Please bring that with you at time of Final Plan submittal as well as a new TDRF and
Planning application (please see website for detailed requirements). When you are ready to resubmit, please
call 221-6750 and make an appointment with one of our building technicians. Resubmittals are accepted on
Wednesdays.
You can also concurrently submit your building permit plans at this time. Once we receive your Final Plan
(Step 6 of the attached development review flowchart) there is one month until the Final Plan review meeting.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Courtney
