HomeMy WebLinkAboutCLEARWIRE, COLLINDALE GOLF COURSE WTF - PDP - 11-10 - CORRESPONDENCE - EASEMENTS (3)Page 1 of 1 From: Steve Olt To: Bill Whirty Date: 8/20/2010 10:11 AM Subject: letter of intent for Clearwire @ Collindale CC: Andrew Carney; VMcAlister@aisiinc.com ED This is regarding a potentially necessary "letter of intent" from Parks to Clearwire Wireless, LLC for an easement or easements to provide access to their proposed wireless telecommunications facility on the Collindale Golf Course property. As stated by Andrew Carney of the City's Engineering Development Review Department: "The proposed Access and Utility easements will need to be dedicated by separate document prior to Final Plan approval. Is the existing asphalt parking lot already in an wxisting access easement? If not, the proposed access easement may need to extend all the way out to Lemay Ave. to ensure access." Therefore, it is possible that the applicant may need an easement from Parks. We do not have a format for a letter of intent. You could just say something like: The City Parks Department intends to provide Clear Wireless, LLC with the necessary easement(s) for access from South Lemay Avenue to their wireless telecommunications facility (WTF) to be located at the south end of the Collindale Golf Course driving range and east of the golf course maintenance shop. The Parks Department will provide the actual easement(s) at the time of Clearwire WTF. Final Plan submittal for review. The letter of intent should be addressed to: City of Fort Collins, c/o Andrew Carney, CDNS/Engineering Development Review, P.O. Box 580, Fort Collins, CO 80522.
