No, we will have no impact on the power line as that is off the property. 5. Will you host tournaments? How big and where will you provide parking? A. Yes, we plan on hosting tournaments. These would be on weekends only. We could have up to 50 competitors. We are having discussions with surrounding businesses about shared parking since they are closed on weekends. 6. When will you open? A. Spring of 2010. 7. How many shooters will you have at any one time? A. At capacity, since we plan on having 28 lanes, we could have 28 shooters. NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING SUMMARY PROJECT: Rocky Mountain Archery DATE: May 18, 2009 APPLICANT: Mr. Stewart King, Kodiak Construction and Design CITY PLANNER: Ted Shepard, Chief Planner This is a request to construct an 11,266 square foot building for an indoor archery range and pro shop. The site is 4518 Innovation Drive and is presently vacant. It is located within the Golden Meadows Industrial Park between Farmer Brothers Coffee and Colotex Electric. The site contains 27,600 square feet. The primary use is indoor recreation with ancillary retail sales and service of equipment. This would be a full -service archery facility with shooting range, viewing area and a technical range featuring an animated video screen. The facility would be open for individuals, groups and occasional tournaments. Memberships would be available for regular customers. The site is zoned H-C, Harmony Corridor. This zone normally does not allow Unlimited Indoor Recreation as a permitted use. The Zoning Code, however, allows for the Addition of a Permitted Use process for ultimate consideration by the City of Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board. Questions, Concerns, Comments Will there be any outdoor activity? A. No, all activity is indoors. 2. How big is the building again? A. About 11,000 square feet. It will be a two-story building but the upper level is only over the front office portion. 3. Will you be required to build a sidewalk? A. Yes, the City of Fort Collins will require a new sidewalk along Innovation. 4. Will your building impact the bike trail under the power line?
