There is another (existing) light on the west side of Lady Moon about 140' n h of the light you request be
moved. Unfortunately in order to provide proper roadway lighting, the ligh eeds to be where it is shown. In
addition, the development on the west side of Lady Moon has been develo ed of
the landscape plan)
without an additional light there. I understand your desire for using trees to provide neighborhood screening.
As you know, our standards require shade type trees to be a minimum of 40 ft. from streetlights. This is highly
unusual, but I could agree to allowing the clearance be reduced to 30 ft., with the clear understanding that this
is not setting a precedent.

Doug,
I see two proposed street lights near the intersection of Lady Moon and Rock Creek on your layout; one is on the
north side of Rock Creek directly east of the pedestrian ramp, and the other is on the east side of Lady Moon
approximately 70' north of the pedestrian ramp.
Is it at all possible to relocate.the light pole on Lady Moon to the west side of the street? We are trying to satisfy
the neighborhood comments by providing as much screening as possible. This would allow more, and larger,
street trees on the east side of Lady Moon.
Thanks,
