The existing public sidewalks along Parker and Whedbee Streets are attached to the curb and not in compliance with current standards. For the proposed project, these sidewalks must either be widened by adding no less than four feet of width, or demolishing and constructing new, detached sidewalks in accordance with the current standard. 9. If there are any public sidewalks that are not handicap -accessible as per Federal A.D.A. requirements, then these sidewalks must be improved accordingly. 10. The first parking stall is too close to Parker Street. Cars maneuvering in. and out of this space may impact traffic on Parker Street. This closest space, and possibly the second one in, may not comply with the parking lot setback standard and would have to be removed. For example, if there are over 100 trips per day on Parker, then the first parking space must be setback from the flowline by a minimum of 40 feet.
