Hi Courtney,
I've had discussions with PFA staff and we're in agreement that PFA not try to regulate the alley in any way. As it's a
public right of way, the fire department doesn't have any ability to post signs or police it for hanging wires and such.
That should make the process simpler for all. We're also going to allow the project to proceed without further
modification to the site plan, given that the building is only 24' out of access.
I'll update my comments in Accela this morning so the final comment letter can be sent out. Thanks for your help.

Hi Jim,
Per our discussion today, would it be helpful to include a note on the site plan saying something like "typically, City does
not allow alley fire access. In this instance PFA may take access off the alley. Project is to be fire sprinkled. There should
be no future decorative lighting across alley nor new overhead utility lines installed to prevent PFA alley access."
That is just a thought/suggestion to help facilitate resolution for the applicant.
