The Rocky Mountain
Innovation Initiative, or
RMI2, on Monday formally
announced the addition of five
new clients to its incubator
program.
Among the new innovative
startup companies introduced
by the RMI2 board of direc-
tors are: Eckstein
Diagnostics, GenGreen,
MetLogic, Physical Activity
Innovations and Zero Hero
Events.
Eckstein, founded by Julia
Inamine and Torsten
Eckstein, specializes in diag-
nostics for infectious diseases.
GenGreen is a social
media company with the
largest database of verified
environmental and healthy -
living businesses in North
America.
MetLogic provides cus-
tomized climate and weather
products with state-of--the-art
weather models.
Physical Activity Innovations
is developing footwear -based
systems that help motivate
users to increase their daily
physical activity.
And ZeroHero Events is a
zero -waste renewable energy
company providing recycling
services to events across the
nation.
Each of the new companies
meets RMI2's goal to acceler-
ate the success of high -impact
scientific and technology start-
up companies in Northern
Colorado.
RMI2 will provide the com-
panies with facilities, access to
a network of mentors and
advisers, support services,
business connections, net-
working opportunities and
education.
