Created: 8/25/2009 This project uses 7 Swamp White Oak. This species will not survive in Fort Collins Soil. Please let the applicant know they should change this tree to either Bur Oak or Chinkapin Oak.Collins. • See the revised Landscape Plan and Plant Count changing to BUR OAK. Department: Current Planning Issue Contact: Emma McArdle Topic: Additional e-mail comments Number: e-mail. Created: 8/24/2009 Request for revising the sidewalk to a detached walk on the East side of the lot — this was not required. • Detaching the side walk presents conflicts with the parking on the Southside of the (would reduce the parking), is in conflict with the Trash Enclosure, and Fire Hydrant locations, and the sidewalk being attached is pert of a plat by others which icludes a sidewalk easement, that is in the process of being recorded. Chase feels if additional plantings need to be added but that they would rather not relocate a small amount of walk just to be detached as it does not work with the site layout very well and we request to stay with the walk as it was previously submitted. This revised set of Site Plans is being re -submitted along with Redlines, so the City can verify that the appropriate changes have been made. Should you have questions or need clarification on anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. Created: 9/18/2009 The current landscaping does not meet the LUC's Minimum Species Diversity requirement in Section 3.2.1(D)(3). This is not a big deal we will just need to modify the % at final compliance to meet the standards. For final I will ask for the percentages of each tree species be shown, currently Austrian Pines account for 38% of all trees the max percentage allowed for any one species is 33%. So we just need to add two of something else to make the percentages work out. • See the additional Evergreen Species that has been added Department: Current Planning Issue Contact: Emma McArdle Topic: Additional e-mail comments Number: e-mail. How old is the study that is being referenced from the ULI? I question the need for almost double the allowed parking spaces as a large majority of people don't even really go into banks to do business anymore. Its mostly done online.
