On the move: Unique vehicle dealership brings 17 jobs to
region

> The new Mini dealership will break ground on Wednesday at the Motorplex at Centerra. Interstate
25 and Crossroads Boulevard.
A ribbon cutting ceremony held at 11 a.m. followed by a reception and Mini parade to help celebrate
the 50th birthday of the MiniCooper.
The new Mini of Loveland will be at 4055 Byrd Drive just southwest of Co's BMW Center and will be
only the second dealership in Colorado to sell the Mini brand.
The new Mini of Loveland dealership will have about 10,000 square feet of space, including service
department and showroom, and is scheduled to open early next year.
Mini plans to hire 17 workers, said Christina Dawkins, CEO of Mini of Loveland and owner and
operator of Co's BMW Center. "We are very excited to have been selected to offer the Mini in our
area. The Mini is such a fun and very personalized driving experience."
> Caribbean Food Shack is expanding its hours and offering free delivery beginning today.
Caribbean Food Shack, 1232 W. Elizabeth St. in Campus West, serves Caribbean food from Trinidad
and Tobago and is famous for its BakeNShark sandwich.
They are now open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and until 3 a.m. Thursday,
Friday and Saturday.
With their expanded hours they now offer free delivery whenever they are open.

> After a couple false starts in moving its corporate headquarters, Otter Products plans to move to
209 Meldrum St.
The maker of OtterBox cases for personal communication devices, iPods, iPhones, PDAs and more,
hopes to convert a 1% story building with about 14,000 square feet to a three-story building with
about 38,000 square feet.
The city planning department will host a neighborhood meting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the community
room at 215 Mason St. to discuss the project.
No decisions will be made at the meeting.
The company had initially planned to move out to Interstate 25 but plans for that deal fell through
The company is now scattered in several different buildings with its corporate headquarters in Old
Town Square and warehouse space throughout the city.
