I am writing this letter as a Fort Collins citizen in full support of the MAX Flats
project being proposed by Brinkman Development. This project is exactly the
type of development that should be allowed and encouraged along this corridor.
The long term success of the Mason Corridor will center on projects like this.
This project provides for much -needed multi -family housing in the downtown
area while providing for quality infill use. As well, it supports our community
goal of providing quality housing along a key multi -model transportation
corridor.
We are fortunate to have a local company that is willing to be a leader in
developing and building a project that meets so many of our community goals
and we need to allow them to be -successful in order to encourage others.
This project is absolutely critical to the long-term viability of the Mason
Corridor and I am hopeful that the Planning and Zoning Board will be
supportive of this project.
