Hi Robert,
I just want to clarify my role in this. I am a Planner for the City, I am not a part of the team that is
proposing this facility. I will be a reviewer of•the proposal against the Citys Standards set forth in the Land
Use Code (LUC) and manage the other commenting agency's comments, then ultimately make a
recommendation (base on City standards)'to the decision maker.
That being said, the applicants have not submitted a formal development proposal yet so I am unable to
answer any questions about what they are proposing or where their buffering is going to be. Also, the
City's LUC does require on -site landscape buffering that this development proposal will be subject to.
I am happy to discuss this more when a formal submittal has been made and I know more. I recommend
checking back in with me in the up coming weeks to see if a formal submittal has been made.
Thanks for your interest. I will keep your comments in the project file and the decision maker will be given
them with their packet for the hearing.

Hello Emma,
I am a Crest Road resident. I read through the Neighborhood Meeting
document, as well as Diane's and Eric's emails, and while many good
points were made, what was most compelling -to me'was the lack of
buffering space on the west side of the property.-~
I see that someone asked whether the propertyimmediately to the west of
the railroad tracks might be purchased for use as buffering, with a
reply that it is not in the current plans. It seems to me that it might
be possible to use that land for buffering purposes, such'as,a wall or
berm to shield the lights and noise from the' Transit Center, without the
land actually having to be purchased.
I know that if I owned that land, I would be concerned about its
marketability because of its proximity to the Transit Center, the
railroad tracks, and the current and future commercial uses nearby.
Thus, I would welcome improvements which would shield the rest of the
property from those things, even though they would consume some space.
Has the owner of that land been contacted in regard to such.a solution?
