The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved your request for a six month
extension to the Water's Edge @ Richard's Lake PDP, originally approved on
January 18, 2007. Based on this extension, a Final Plan in accordance with the
City of Fort Collins Land Use Code must be approved no later than July 18,
2010.
Please note that the code does not authorize further extensions and failure to
receive Final Plan approval by July 18, 2010, will render the Water's Edge @
Richard's Lake PDP null and void.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free
to give me a call at 970-221-6765.

Water's Edge @ Richard's Lake, PDP - #58-86J was approved on January 18, 2007, that is true. The Final Plans
(#58-86K) were submitted on May 9, 2007 and went through 2 rounds of review. Due to the current economic
times the project review languished for awhile.
Steve Dush approved a 6-month extension to the PDP on January 6. 2010. The PDP is still valid until July 18,
2010. We must get the Final Plans re -submitted, reviewed, approved, and recorded prior to July 18th or the PDP
will expire at that time.

Hi John!
Sorry, I took some time off last week but I did get your voicemail about Water's Edge. Hooked it up in the system
and that project has expired unfortunately. It went to hearing on 1/18/2007 and they only have 3 years to finalize
the plans.
You might want to give the planner a call to see what you can do, if anything. Steve Olt can be reached at 221-
6341.
