Description of Proposal for Expansion of Treehouse Montessori at 2013 Valley Forge •
We are currently capped at having 15 children between the ages of 3 and 6. To make the
business financially sustainable we have to expand to at least 20 kids and no more than
25, thus we are interested in initiating the process of expansion. our current Directress
and Administrator are fulfilling the requirements of the State so we they can become
"large center" qualified (any child care above 15 students).
Below is a list of items we would like to explore for the expansion:
I ) F,stablishing a relationship with the Church to our South (right behind the
backyard fence) to see if they would allow parents and teachers to park on their
property and/or drop off kids on their property and have children access the
school through the back yard.
2) We would like to explore the possibility of turning the garage into another
classroom by cutting an entry in one of the walls of the house (I can show this on
a map of the house during the meeting).
3) We want to expand the current bathroom to accommodate another sink and toilet
(I can show this on a map of the house during the meeting).
4) We want to expand the current napping room by moving the office down stairs (I
can show this on a map or the house during the meeting).
5) We want to explore the possibility of making the basement legal to use for the
school. •
