Dear Mr. Hoaglund,
The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved your request for a one year extension to the
Waters Edge Subdivision, originally approved on July 19, 2010. Based on this extension, all
engineering improvements in accordance with your approved utility plans must be completed no
later than July 19, 2014. Also note that the City Council is in process of considering new set-
back criteria for new subdivisions that will possibly affect the Waters Edge Subdivision. If
enacted prior to the completion of all engineering improvements and approved utility plans
significant changes to this subdivision will be required.
Pursuant to Section 2.2.11(D)(4) of the Land Use Code, the Director is authorized to grant an
additional one year extension should you find that the above new deadline cannot be met. Please
note that additional requests beyond the two consecutive one year periods fall outside my
purview and may only be authorized by the Planning and Zoning Board.
